Ned Deily <n...@python.org> added the comment: As explained above, this crash will happen with any Python that links to the deprecated Apple-supplied system Tk framework in macOS versions from macOS 10.7 to 11 Big Sur. If you want to use tkinter, you need to use a Python that links to a newer version of Tk. If Homebrew’s Python is not doing that, you should bring it up with the Homebrew project.
