Ned Deily <n...@acm.org> added the comment: It's not a configuration bug. All current python.org python installers are built with MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET=10.3 and with the 10.4u SDK to allow one installer to work on systems from 10.3.9 through 10.6.
