Terry J. Reedy <tjre...@udel.edu> added the comment: I would really like something like this -- for 3.2b1 next week. I am constantly running posted interactive code and the lack of this is a major nuisance. There seems to be a glitch in how the editor deals with '>>> ' when trying to delete it.
However, as well as removing '>>> ' and '... ' from code lines, I would like it to add '# ' to output lines. I do not see that in the patch. Since I have XP also (and access to Win7) I would consider this working on those two sufficient reason to commit. As near as I can tell, the patch cannot possibly break other systems as long as the feature is not used. Once in the beta, it could get wider testing. ---------- nosy: +terry.reedy -nobody priority: low -> normal _______________________________________ Python tracker <rep...@bugs.python.org> <http://bugs.python.org/issue1178> _______________________________________ _______________________________________________ Python-bugs-list mailing list Unsubscribe: http://mail.python.org/mailman/options/python-bugs-list/archive%40mail-archive.com
