Éric Araujo <mer...@netwok.org> added the comment: FWIW, I’ve already been caught by “./python -m test” not working with 3.1 and 2.7 when doing backports and using my shell history functionality. I share Alexander’s viewpoint that adding test.__main__ is a core dev-specific convenience that should not count as a new feature. I would not add it to the security-only branches, though.
