My buildbot has gone offline and when I try to start it, it times out after ten seconds. According to twistd.log,it just gets as far as "Starting factory", then sits there silently for ten seconds, then gets SIGTERM'd from the initializer. Prior to my attempted restart, it was stuck in its own reconnection loop, saying that it was retrying after some random length of time (under three seconds).
The log line "we lost the brand-new connection" comes up frequently. Far as I know, the build worker's configs haven't changed from when it was all running fine. The worker name is angelico-debian-amd64 and the password is the same one I've used since I started. Attempting to telnet from the buildbot VM to bulidbot.python.org port 9020 appears to work. What should I be looking for?
