There's really no such thing as "dropping" a PEP, but in any event, we should still keep PEP 4 to document the procedure for deprecating modules. It just doesn't need to list any modules (i.e. remove the sections labeled Obsolete modules, Deprecated modules, and Undeprecated modules). -Barry
