FWIW, I was planning on writing a tutorial (working title: "Making Python Code Not Suck") for some conference or another... talked to a bunch of people last week at OSDC, and it seems like something people are interested in. Got a bunch of stuff already down from various notes I've written in the past when helping coworkers and the like.
