Yes. Somebody commented that this is quadratic in svn with the number of revisions, whereas it is linear in CVS. Please try it on some other file; Misc/NEWS is probably the worst case in the Python repository. For consistency, should we use <lower case first name>.<lower case last name> (with the usual exceptions 'aahz', 'guido.van.rossum', 'martin.v.loewis')? As for parsing these things: they also show up in 'svn log'.
