I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to stop you or discourage you in any way. It was my intent to provide an explanation why there is not much adoption of the new hooks yet. Please go ahead, put the paddle to the metal and play around with the new features! For example you could look into the new config system and figure out what is missing to build an spython interpreter.
