Or python-dev subscribers might delete the announcement of the freeze
without paying close attention to it then wonder a few hours later whether
or not it's okay to check anything in. (Speaking as someone with a problem
in this area.)
I'm all in favor of a technical fix to my memory problems. <0.5 wink>
