Absolutely. This is a significant reason to publicly, and frequently,
respond to request inline-replied, suitably-trimmed messages: to help
newcomers reading the list understand what constitutes an easy-to-read
message, and to maximise their opportunity to write messages that won't
simply be skipped as too much effort to read.
