I closed the issue as fixed because I had no intention of backporting it as this is a new feature (using libedit didn't work in earlier 2.6 versions and only works on the trunk after patching the readline module). > >> As they are *REALLY* scarce, the answer is probably "no". > > Barry's answer was "yes" back in October.
