I think you do misunderstand: the people that do (occasionally, or eventually) provide OSX binaries have hardware available to them all the time. They only have part-time to work on Python, though. Of course, if somebody would promise a more timely provision of binaries, and can't do that because of lack of hardware, we would have to look for a solution.
