The new PYTHONWARNINGS env var also needs mentioning here, how's about:

:option:`-Wd`) switch or by setting the :envvar:`PYTHONWARNINGS`
environment variable to "default" (or "d") before running Python.
Python code can also re-enable them by calling
``warnings.simplefilter('default')``.
