Hi Prashant, Python 3 support in distutils2 is not entirely finished, it’s an interesting and challenging task.
Another idea: convert the python.org internal scripts to use Python 3, for example starting with patches for http://code.python.org/hg/peps/ . This would not have any impact on the community, but it’s easy work that’d help the Python developers to eat their own dogfood.
