It looks like a regression in test_idlelib introduced with this issue: http://bugs.python.org/issue15968 Zachary Ware wrote a fix: http://bugs.python.org/issue20035 Can someone please review Zachary's patch? If not, I suggest to revert changes of issue #15968 to have working Windows buildbots.
