There is no connection between PSF and either Activestate or Gmane.org. We have no control over their mirrors. We occasionally remove defamatory material posted to python-list, but even that is somewhat futile as python list is mirrored on gmane, usenet, google-groups, and many other places. pydev has fewer mirrors, but as you noticed, there are at least 2.
This was not supposed to be posted online. I just wanted to know if there was a trick to forcing x64 Python to install on x64 machines.
There is no easy way to edit and forward at the same time.
