* I didn't have time to read the whole convo' yet * I think linking to a tutorial on "how to use a mailing list" that shows some examples on popular email client like Gmail on android or Mail in iOS would be something really helpful to beginners.
When they subscribe, a bot would send that link alongside a nice welcoming message.
