Hi Nir, Ori and Misha, I think it would be great if you could attend the hackathon but as far as I can tell you are all locals so you don't need any special treatment regarding the hackathon. Especially if there are going to be expenses associated with your attendance those will be fairly low. As that is a wiki, if you are interested attending then please register on the conference web site and add yourself to the wiki.
I am looking for recommendations for people from overseas you would like to work with for a couple of days face to face. If you look at the hackathon page on the wiki http://act.osdc.org.il/osdc2009il/wiki?node=Hackathon you will see a number of central figures in the Perl and PHP testing communities from Europe and the US. I'd like to have a few names from the Python world - people you think should be here.
