Hi All,
There is a plan to have a meeting to discuss about
Django<http://www.djangoproject.com/>.
The purpose of the meeting is to understand the pro and con of Django for
Model-View-Controller based applications.
The suggested agenda will be:
1. Django introduction presentation by Meir Kriheli (django.org.il)
a. What is Django
b. How to build
MTV<http://www.djangoproject.com/documentation/faq/#django-appears-to-be-a-mvc-framework-but-you-call-the-controller-the-view-and-the-view-the-template-how-come-you-don-t-use-the-standard-names>application
c. Why Django.
2. Open discussion about Django and other alternatives.
Date/Time (tentative): Aug-18-2008
Location: TBD.
If anybody can make an introduction to other python based alternative
(Plone, TurboGear, etc..) it will be grate.
Please let me know your interest for participation and the suggested agenda.
