Michael, have you made a decision about whether to start an entirely new code
base for Python 3.x?

I have a small need for a threaded application using LDAP. Now that Python 3.2
has addressed some issues with threading and the GIL, I'd like to pursue this.
Of course, I'll need an LDAP module to continue. I may be able to help a little
with the porting, but it seems the biggest decision is whether to start a new
project or not.

Yancey
