I'm curious about the long term trends chart on the TIOBE Programming Community Index chart at http://www.tiobe.com/tpci.htm. It shows the prevalence of Delphi and Python have tracked roughly equivalent usage paths for some years now. Does anyone know why, or is this just an interesting but insignificant anomaly?
