    if (len(match) >= len(out)):
      out = match
  return out

p1 = 'dodad donkeykong dolittle dodaday'
p2 = 'oneself self-serving selfsufficient oneselfsufficient'
print matcher(p1, 'do')
# donkeykong
print matcher(p2, 'self')
# oneselfsufficient
