because I misread the "waiting for" in the first paragraph; Python 2.5 has been out for some while, and the OP's post didn't appear to make any sense if he wasn't using a 2.5 build, and had found that he had a wrapper but no driver DLL. Occam's razor. but given that he wasn't using a 2.5 install, his post makes even less sense. I guess I need to get myself a new razor.
