Hi fellow pythoneers, I'm thinking about writing a simple web service for use in the "Research Task Pane" in Microsoft Office. There is a lot of C# and VB code samples out there and tutorials on how to do this in Visual Studio on Windows; however, I am interested in writing the web service in Python and keep it available on a web server running Linux. Does anybody have any experience on this? Code samples? Reasons for NOT attempting this in Python?
