I'm considering using plain text file for documenting certain things (nothing to do with Python) and I'm looking at different "formatting systems" ... preferable with a python implementation to render the text at least as HTML - preferable also other formats like LaTeX.
So far I've found + Markdown + reST (the web site at sourceforge doesn't seem to have been updated since 2006) Are there any other I should look at? -- http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/python-list
