Gee, I wish Python existed back then. I had to endure Commore Basic on the PET2001. The biggest challenge was how to fit the program in 8K... It didn't take me long to switch to 6502 machine language to get more out of it. And I was a really happy kid when the S100 systems with FORTRAN and simple C compilers came along ;-) I wish I still had my original K&R "Programming C" and Kernighan&Plaughers "Software Tools" using RATFOR, but they have been lost in the mist of years.
