I have all syntax colors turned off except for strings and comments. I highly recommend this low-key syntax coloring for those who don't care for the normal psychodelic syntax coloring. Bright red comments definitely helps them stand out (the easier to ignore them with), and cool blue strings provide a subtle syntax clue while not being too distracting. Rest of the text is black.
