I work in research and mainly use Fortran and Python. I haven't had any problem with the python indentation. I like it, I find it simple and easy.
Well, sometimes I may forget to close an IF block with an ENDIF, in Fortran, so used I am on ending a block just decreasing the indentation, not a big problem actually (always spotted by the compiler). -- https://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/python-list
