Other answers have given you the proper way to quickly get all the build dependencies. In order to see what modules you won't have available, look at the output near the end of the 'make' command (it's very quickly buried by `make altinstall`, so be sure to do those as separate commands :)). Most of the extension modules are built by setup.py, which gives a report at the end of its run about which modules it couldn't find dependencies for, which modules couldn't be built, and which modules built but couldn't be imported. -- Zach -- https://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/python-list
