http://www.tcl.tk/man/tcl8.6/TkCmd/contents.htmdocuments the tcl/tk that tkinter wraps. There are a few things that are not included in tkinter.
I ask this question because apparently there are stuffs of tkinter that worked in Python 3.5 but no longer in Python 3.6.1.
