I noticed that the ipython on my Debian box located in the following
locations:
werner@localhost:~$ ls .local/bin/ipython*
.local/bin/ipython .local/bin/ipython3
werner@localhost:~$ ls .pyenv/shims/ipython*
.pyenv/shims/ipython .pyenv/shims/ipython3
And, they are different:
