It's apparently a local issue: my python3 packages ended up in /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/ rather than //usr/lib64/python3.9/site-packages/. I'm rebuilding all installed python3 packages. Stay well, Rich -- https://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/python-list
