"Yes" I don't know what the current state of the openid logins there is, for a while there were known problems. In any case, in order to edit you have to be added to the editors' list (it's a minimal anti-spam protection, you just tell the team you'd like to edit something particular and they add you). I admit I don't know how to do that with a login that isn't a wiki login.
