I have a Windows 11 laptop and an Epson WF-4820 printer.
Is there any way I can programmatically print two files, one on each
side of the same sheet of paper?
The following program doesn't quite work (Python 3.13.3):
How long are these files?
In the ?good, old, days (before duplex printers became available/cheap)
we would print the even-numbered pages on the 'bottom' of each sheet
with page-numbering forwards, take the output stack and (carefully
oriented) place it back in the input cartridge; then print the 'odd'
pages on the 'top' of each sheet.
In your case, print the shorter file, over-turn, and print the other.
However...
if any page is messed-up for some reason, eg two sheets fail to
separate; things become confusing very quickly. So, learned to use this
trick in short-runs.
OTOH much more fun to find a programmatic solution!
