Hi,

After running py-shell I get an error message in the min-buffer "Wrong
type argument: processp, nil". The *Python* buffer shows:

Python 2.6 (r26:66714, Dec 23 2009, 15:54:18)
[GCC 4.1.2 20080704 (Red Hat 4.1.2-46)] on linux2
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
>>>

I can type things, but hitting RET just gives me a new line (no
prompt) and nothing more.

This happens with emacs 23.1.1 and Python 2.6 (under Linux), and emacs
22.1.1 with Python 2.6 and 2.4.4 (I tried both) under Solaris. This
was tested running emacs -Q, so it is not related to local
configuration.

Any idea how to solve this?

Thanks in advance,

Marc
