Skip, even if Andreas obsoletes his branch, yours will not stop working. It just sets a status on Launchpad and of course Andreas won't be updating it any more, so it will get out of date. Really the easiest thing for you to do is to check out the new branch into a different directory and point your load-path at it. Or wait for Andreas to merge the new branch into the trunk and just switch to that. I know it kind of sucks, but it's not that much different than any other vcs. -Barry
