Hello,
I'm starting with Python and plan to write GUI application using Qt as
well as using Cython extensions.
Now I see that besides 'standard' python-el& python-mode.el there is
another python.el (https://github.com/fgallina/python.el) mode making
it easier to decide which one to use...
Hi,
AFAIK 23... branches of Emacs have a syntax bug, which affects
triple-quoted-string. That's gone with 24.. trunk
Suggest to checkout for example
bzr branch lp:emacs
Read INSTALL.BZR, as the installing procedure changed.
Build here from yesterday seems fine...
Get the latest python-mode trunk with
bzr branch lp:python-mode
Can someone shed some light about pro/cons of each mode considering
our requirements which can help reduce choices and time needed to
thoroughly test each one?
all variants offer the basics Emacs programming modes commonly offer.
Don't see much difficulties so far, if you are used to Emacs, it's
hs-minor-mode etc.
Command names usually are self-explaining.
Should you have a specific question, please pose it here.
Also feature requests, bug reports etc. always welcome:

Thank you in advance.
