- Does Business Continuity Management take a holistic business-focused view and is it able to handle the consequences of an increasingly global business/ product eco-system in an increasingly regulated environment?

- Do you assess the severity of the impact caused by the disruption on the business; the guiding question is: to what extent will business activities be damaged if the disruption occurs?
- Staffing-what kinds of technical support personnel is the service provider obligated to make available onsite to assist institution employees in getting the recovery site operating?
- Has a designated crisis management center been identified, and does it have necessary life support functions, including uninterruptible power supply and communications equipment?
- Did you assign critical tasks to other suitably trained employees, in order to ensure that they are performed regardless of the absence of those having the main responsibility?
- Do you assess the likelihood of the business disruption; the key question is: if the natural hazard occurs, how probable is that it will develop into business disruptions?
