I'm looking at doing a backport of https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/django-filter to stretch-backports to enable filtering in a new REST API.
I know buster is down for release soon-ish but it would be nice to be able to release a version using this support from stretch-backports before the buster release. This would allow that the support is usable during the Buster release cycle and the subsequent lag until the relevant servers all upgrade to buster. There is a bug in current django-filters in Stretch which is fixed upstream, so a newer version is needed for the support required. Also, django-filters in current stretch can't work with the python-django from stretch-backports, so backports seems the right place to upload. https://github.com/carltongibson/django-filter/issues/673 Any likely issues or problems? -- Neil Williams [email protected]
