Hi Sandro,
python-numpy has a lot of rdepends and new numpy versions. In the past
every version bump of numpy has broken some of these. I'd propose to
use the well established transition procedure[1] for new numpy versions
specifically if you intend to upload RC candidates this should not just
be done to unstable.
My actual problems are #917693 and #918213. I've contacted upstream
about this but it is hard to expect them to respond quickly about issues
with a numpy RC candidate.
