Hi,

I'm working on packaging Jupyterhub, which depends on python3-consul2. I've been told (thanks, piuparts!) that python3-consul2 ships files that are in the same location as python3-consul. After some investigation, it seems that python-consul2 is a friendly fork of python3-consul, which is dormant upstream and hasn't seen any activity in Debian in years either.

I'm writing for advice: at the very least, I'll declare a Conflicts:, but should I also add Replaces: and Provides:? Or is there a chance that python3-consul continues its life on its own?

Thanks for any advice,

Roland.
