to rebuild it (using pbuilder and svn-buildpackage):
$ debcheckout pywavelets
$ cd pywavelets/
$ ./debian/rules get-orig-source
$ mv pywavelets_*.orig.tar.gz ../
$ svn-buildpackage --svn-builder=pdebuild --svn-override=origDir=..
