Could you please confirm that merely renaming the file as follows helps? sudo mv /usr/share/pyshared/numpy/core/include/numpy/numpycfunc.h /usr/share/pyshared/numpy/core/include/numpy/cfunc.h I have already made a fix, and if you confirm this, I shall upload this to stable-proposed-updates.
