I can't reproduce the bug. I had the package installed and I can import it just fine in unstable. That package ordered_dict is actually part of python- simplejson, so it's not a problem of missing dependencies it seems. Are you sure you haven't fiddled with /usr/share/python/debian_defaults or that you didn't abort the package configuration or something? What are the contents of your directory /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.5/simplejson/ ?
