Hi Team-mates,

I have prepared initial packaging for mpi4py (WNPP #604161).

I would like to move it under the team maintenance, but wanted first to
check if there would be anyone actually interested in having such
a module among team-maintained packages.

initial packaging is available in GIT:
http://git.debian.org/?p=pkg-exppsy/mpi4py.git
and packages from neuro.debian.net repository

remaining issues I see:

- make unittests runner fail if any unittest fails and
actually address those few unittests failing

- consider recythoning the .pyx files instead of using provided
.c files (but should be done wisely depending on the version of
  available cython for easy backporting)

remaining question:

if that takes it should I move it under team's SVN, or if flow is
already decided for SVN->GIT transition, could just move 'debian' branch
(pure packaging material) and adjust debian/gbp.conf accordingly.

Cheers,
