Hi,
running a simple wsgi app under mod_wsgi 3.4 and apache 2.4 and configured
wsgi in daemon mode it directly segfaulting.
raising the loglevel to debug gives you a hint where it crashes.
This bug is discussed at:

I created a patch with the fix in it, and it fixes this issue.
