Helo David, I just tried to build this package with pbuilder and there was no problem. So maybe it was a python issue which was fixed in the meantime. So I have a suggestion if it makes sense: when you do an archive rebuild, check whether previously failing packages now build, and whether the corresponding bug was closed.
