Package: billiard
Version: 3.3.0.15-1
Severity: wishlist
Hi,
billiard looks useful for a project I'm working on where I'd like to be
able to use forking_enable(False). However, my project is primarily in
Python 3, billiard is currently only built for Python 2, and I don't
think forking_enable is available even in Python 3.4's multiprocessing
and certainly not in 3.3. PKG-INFO and setup.py claim support for
Python 3; do you think you could build this into a python3-billiard
binary package?
(I'll probably need to come up with my own alternative for now as I'm
under some time pressure, but there's a decent chance I'd switch to
python3-billiard if it were available.)
Thanks,
