Package: python-urwid Version: 1.2.1-2+b1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, the currently packaged version of urwid will update the whole screen on redraw, even lines that did not change. This is very annoying, especially when using SSH over a slow link. The problem has been fixed upstream in a trivial one-line fix a27dbb8a8e1eea59d7eecb3f4120599eb2c46826 Since we are likely stuck with this version for Jessie, please backport the fix to it, so it can be reasonably usable over SSH.
